Our reeds come in one style: Elite.  Pro reeds have been discontinued as of Jan. 4, 2013.

To celebrate our 25th anniversary during July 2025 : Buy 3 OBOE reeds get a 4th free. Just order 3 by July 31 and you will receive a 4th with it.  Orders will be processed by mid August.

All of our reeds will be sanitized in isopropyl alcohol before being mailed as part of our new Covid 19 procedure

The Elite reeds are made of the highest quality cane available. Elite reeds are made after consultation with the customer to ensure the reed meets the specific needs of the musician.

As much depends on the quality of the cane, we look for cane that offers the best combination of hardness, density and resilience. After completion, CRC reeds are allowed to settle, and then carefully finished to our exacting standards.

Reeds are guaranteed not to leak. We take the utmost care in construction and packaging. It is unlikely that a reed will arrive cracked or damaged, but if it does, it will be replaced at no charge. Your satisfaction is important to us.

English horn reeds are available only in Elite.
